Buffalo, New York (WKBW) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is licensing Regeronron to some patients who are positively tested for COVID-19.

The FDA says it is safe to give it to high-risk patients with mild to moderate symptoms.

President Trump received therapy when he fought COVID-19.

Cocktails contain two antibodies produced in the laboratory and can be given to newly infected patients.

Regeneron says it will take 80,000 patients this month and an additional half a million by the end of January.
