NEW YORK (WKBW) – Film theaters in three western New York counties are not allowed to reopen on October 23, the first day. Allowed to reopen In most places outside of New York City.
According to Governor Andrew Kumo, theaters can only be opened outside New York City in counties with an average COVID-19 rating of less than 2 percent within 14 days.
According to the governor’s directive, Alegani, Kataragus and Chautuka County are not eligible.
Outside of New York City, the following counties in New York State are not allowed to reopen movie theaters on October 23rd.
This means that movie theaters in Erie, Genesis, Niagara, Orleans and Wyoming will be allowed to reopen on Friday.
