CHECKOWGAA, New York (WKBW) – The City of Trophy and Adventure Park in Chekwaga has been ordered to close by Eri County Health Department on a day of great openness.
Representatives of the ECD visited the Walden Gallery on Saturday.
The health department also visited Gate Air Trampolin Park in Chekwaga. Health officials say the facility was shut down voluntarily while operating.
Following the closure, the Department of Health issued the following statement:
Operators of each institution have stated that they will not be allowed to open the trapole parks under New Form in the past as they are considered indoor recreation.
Public health professionals visited the area on Saturday afternoon. In addition to opening these facilities, public health professionals have seen inappropriate masks and body pollution measures.
The NY Air Safety Plan may be allowed to reopen once it is approved by ECDOH, and the owner has confirmed that the facility will follow NY’s guidelines.
City Air Adventure Park posted a statement on its Facebook page.
Our park was temporarily closed due to unforeseen circumstances. We are frustrated by the unintended consequences of going above and beyond the call for health and safety measures.
Thank you today for your patience and wonderful hospitality and we are very happy to be a part of your community. Please stay tuned for updates.
