Buffalo, Neo (WIVB) – The Eri County Health Department says the “yellow zone” standards now apply to all “food service facilities in the orange zone”.
“This means that all restaurants in Eri County will be able to provide home-cooked meals at 50 percent capacity, with a maximum of zonal steps up to the table, up to four people and up to six feet between tables,” wrote the Health Department.
The decision comes after dozens of local restaurants sued the state. New York State Supreme Court Judge Henry Nouk He supported the restaurants, Allows them to serve home-cooked meals.
The Erie County Department of Health says this is effective as long as Judge Nouk’s order is upheld. If the Court of Appeals decides otherwise, all restaurants in the county must follow suit.
