After the Lewiston fire, someone was hospitalized

Lewiston Fire Department No. 1 was assisted by two other local fire departments.

LEWISTON, New York – A man has been taken to hospital following a wildfire in Lewiston, according to the Upper Mountain Fire Department.

At around 11pm on Saturday, staff from Lewston Fire Department No. 1 responded to a fire that broke out on 800 blocks of Orchard Drive in Louisston. The Upper Mountain Fire Company and the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Brigade assisted in the call.

Shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday, the Upper Mountain Fire Company announced on its Facebook page that a person had been taken to Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. At that time, there was no update on that person’s condition.
